Nothing in that article without reaching a long way remotely infers a bubble in football alone, that it would die down or, most importantly, that there was a conscious effort to defund football in response to the status of the sport itself. I do not argue that individual sport allocations can be questioned or that VT has fallen behind in funding the sport but, I do question the actual reasons this has come about and question whether it should entirely or substantially be laid in the lap of the President as OHF claims. IMO there is plenty of responsibility at a variety of levels.
